Good morning brethren

Let's go to the Book of Genesis this morning and look at a passage in chapter 5 on the only man in the Bible who never experienced a earthy death : Enoch. We don't know much about him except that which is spoken in this passage, and what Jude was inspired by the Holy Spirit to pen down in his short epistle in the New Testament, but it will be enough for our devotional thoughts for today.
" And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."(Gen. 5:21-24) " And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."( Jude 1:14-15). “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God." ( Heb. 11:5)
Brethren, I would draw your attention to the fact that Enoch is a type of those who will be translated out of this world without seeing death at the Lord's second coming. It may be even US, for some of the saints shall surely be partakers of that privilege no doubt according to 1Thess. 4 and 1Cor. 15. But are you and I Ready for such a moment if we are going to be partakers of that exceptional Transfer ? I would ask you to consider these passages and ask yourself the Three Things that are said of brother Enoch : He Walked with God, He was a believer that the Lord was returning to this earth to Judge it's Ungodliness, and he had This Testimony ; " He pleased God". We need to consider that we may be the very generation that will see our part of this Glorious Prophesy fulfilled ! But who of us would be so foolish as to think that we "really Believe that", if we aren't warning others, keeping his commandments, and trying our "level best" to "Please God" ?
Brethren, let us be of that number that anyone can "see" that we "Believe" we Could be "just the ones" that Paul, Peter, and brother Jude were alluding to. Yep, just the ones. What a Thought !!
Lord bless you children
