Good morning brethren
We continue in our pilgrimage to the spiritual Mt. Zion. The place of our rest and ultimate fellowship with the God of our Salvation and all his host. As we endeavor to ascend to a greater relationship with him, we find that as we pass through the experience of the struggles in the degrees of our advancement, we find ourselves benefiting by the advancement of our spiritual strength and maturity at the same time. As we "Exercise" our Faith, so our faith grows stronger and stronger, and the same to our knowledge and understanding. As we get stronger in the faith we are also "Maturing" in our desires and understanding. Growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ is also "strengthening" our determination to be found found among the "Faithful" in the house of God.
We are pressing our way upward, and are on the 7th degree, Psalms 126
" When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion,we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing:then said they among the heathen,The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us;whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O Lord,as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."
We come now to a place of the experience of the Joys and Rejoicing that Faithfulness and Patience brings to the hearts of the Faithful. No greater joy can we experience than to reflect upon our own salvation and see the fruits of it in lives of others that are partakers of the "seed" which is sown with tears. " The Lord has done great things for us ; whereof we are glad. Tribulation worketh Patience and Patience Hope, and Hope maketh not ashamed. From time to time our Lord is going to let us experience a taste of the everlasting joys of the place where we are going. Oh the joy and happiness that the answers to our Prayers for the turning of our Captivity from some evil in our lives in this present evil world, yes and to see others for whom we are sowing the seed to find deliverance as well. But the greatest joy of all will come when we are all going to be " Cought Up" away from all the captivities of all this life, body soul and spirit. We are given a taste of victory from time to time to ever lead us to the final and most Joyful hope of all. Paul tells us to "Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say Rejoice". But, the "Crown" of our Rejoicing is reserved for a time when US and all the Fruits of all the seed we have sown has been turned into the "Sheaves" that we one day will bring "Rejoicing with Us" to the house of God. " For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy." (1Thess. 2:19-20)
May the Lord bless you with joy unspeakable, even this day, that it will put within your heart a desire to do and be the best witness to all who see that joy, and say, "The Lord has done great things for them", and desire to have the same enough to let you sow some "precious seed" in their lives too.
Lord bless you children
